This week saw the two-disc reissue of Madness' 1979 debut One Step Beyond, an album that convincingly disproves the "just a singles band" theory. Great reissue, with the four single promo videos and a second disc of period b-sides, single versions, Peel sessions and live tracks. Decent packaging, though completely bereft of the Stiff Records logo, and sleevenotes by Irvine Welsh. Checklist in the booklet suggests other reissues are on the way.
